PADI Open Water Diver

In the PADI Open Water Diver course, the PADI Instructor takes you through the basics of learning how to scuba dive. You start in a pool and progress to the open water (ocean) getting the background knowledge along the way.
Earning your PADI Open Water Diver certification is just the beginning. As a certified diver, fabulous dive destinations, exciting people, unparalleled adventure and uncommon tranquility await you. And, as you continue your adventure and gain experience through higher training levels, your opportunities expand.
Course Prerequisites
Minimum age - 15 years old
Able to swim 200 meters
Able to do a 10 minutes water treading
Complete Medical History form (medical clearance, if required)
Sign Liability Release (Waiver) and Express Assumption of Risk form
Sign Standard Safe Diving Practices Statement of Understanding
What’s inside?
Theory: 2 sessions
Pool: 1 session
Number of Dives: 5 Open Water Dives
Materials: PADI Open Water Crew-Pak, Log Book
2D/2N weekend trip to Malaysia – transportation, food and accommodation
Equipment during the course includes: mask, fins, snorkel, tank, regulator, buoyancy compensator, submersible pressure gauge and exposure protection
